Q:Can you use bleach with the soap nuts?
A:Yes. You can use bleach with the soapberries. They are not meant to get heavy or greasy stains out of clothes. You can do any pre-treatments that your normally do to your clothes as well.

A:The raw soap nuts last until you use them all. The 18x concentrated formula has a 2 year shelf life.

A:Do not worry. Soap nuts are non-toxic unless you are a fish. Saponin has been used in highly concentrated doses to kill fish. The saponin flows through the gills of the fish and enter directly into the blood stream. The only problem you may encounter is possible stomach aches. Your insides will receive a slight cleansing.

A:Yes you can. Throwing the wash bag with the soapberries in it will not harm them whatsoever.

Q:Can you use soap nuts in a high efficiency (HE) washer?
A:Yes. Because soap nuts are low sudsing, they work very well in these washers. You may use 3-5 soap nuts in a bag or use ½ tsp of the concentrated soap nut liquid in the detergent drawer.

Q:Should I use fabric softeners or dryer sheets anymore?
A:Typically there is no need, hence only if or when you feel the need. Soap nuts naturally soften your laundry and reduce static. Additives are not recommended because the need for them is dramatically reduced.

Q:Soap nuts have a vinegar-like scent. Will my laundry have this scent?
A:Not at all. Your laundry will amazingly come out scent-free and soft.

Q:I'm allergic to nuts. Can I use soap nuts?
A:Yes! Soap nuts are a dried fruit related to the lychee. Do not let nut allergies keep you from using soap nuts, soap nut powder, or soap nut liquid.
